Sol 7: July 3rd, 2020 (Friday): 12h-13h30m GMT.

            Final meeting.

From Sol 8 to 12 were developed abstracts to send to 23rd Annual International Mars Society Convention will be convened Thursday-Sunday, October 15-18, 2020 (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfkIcuhjxCGpRpkwBl3TRqBLM44I4Om5RBGELUk6m1KkMg-DA/viewform?usp=sf_link). In one of the abstracts, was discussed the operations and features of a launch centre on Mars. According to the concept developed, we propose a self-sustaining facility operating decoupled from other facilities. One of the reasons for this is to avoid explosions and incidents in the launch center from damaging other facilities in the habitat. The primary function of the centre is to enable arrival and departure of goods and people from beyond Mars. In addition, we discuss recycling, modular components and the use of repurposed materials to facilitate self-sustenance to the largest extent possible. We explore technologies for all the above and human routines that would be needed to support the operations. The development of the concept of the Mars launch centre was the result of the 43th research virtual mission developed in the space analog station Habitat Marte.

In a second abstract, was considered how would be an operation of a sanitation facility in Mars. To be operating in Mars was considered a Sanitation facility was considered as a 4-level capsule with different sections to serve other centers in habitat and also for its crew. This Design provides Roles needed to cover the functions and also Duties to operate the sanitation center. The research also presents some Guidelines to Sanitation Center Crew to self-sustain during normal conditions and also in emergency condition, as a dust storm.

All presentations were recorded by the first time and released in Youtube channel and also shared in Twitter and Facebook.
