Partnership of Human Planet Studio and Habitat Marte is announced


During Campus Party Natal-Brazil, that happened in Natal-Brazil at August, 17th, 2019, was communicated the partnership of Habitat Marteand Human Planet Studio. The partnership is in the area of education, technology and popularization of space.
Human Planet Studiois a Russian game development group focused on developing the educational computer game "Our Universe" (no-war game, RPG genre with elements of a strategy and a simulator, abbreviated “SANE” that is “Scientific Adventure'N'Exploration”, currently in alpha version stage) and board strategy game (trial run stage). The team consists of  architects, artists, screenwriters, engineers, musicians, programmers and popularizers of the cosmonautics.  The team participates in different contests for the development of space projects concepts. The portfolio includes the Tetra Exploration lunar base project, the Martian 1000 persons settlement project concept (Mars Alpha, for the Mars Society in 2019 competition), and Venus atmospheric floating research station concept.  The group also organizes educational initiatives, like children's drawing contest "Step from the Cradle" (an astronautics forecast for the next 300 years) and # Postroi_mechtalet (project of lunar landing modules). During computer game development, Human Planet Studio mainly focuses on Russian historical space projects, but are open for cooperation and joint development with other teams around the globe for the benefit of the cosmic awareness. More information about the company can be found at: www.realuniverse.ru.
Habitat Marte is a Mars analog research station located in Nucleus of Research in Engineering, Science and Sustainability of Semiarid (NUPECS), rural area of the city Caiçara do Rio do Vento in Rio Grande do Norte State, Northeast Region, Brazil, 100 km from the capital Natal. Habitat Marte was created to develop activites of education and research related to Science, Space, Sustainability, Technology, Engineering, Math (S3TEM). Because of the water scarcity, the Brazilian Mars research station operates one confined mission by month when happens Intravehicular Activities (IVA) and Extravehicular Activities (EVA), occurring different kinds of research and operations. Habitat Marte started as a project from the Industrial Engineering Department of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) accepting graduate and post-graduate students from Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Physics and Geology and other courses. The first Mars simulation mission in Brazil, at the Habitat Mars research station, was held from December 8th to 10th, 2017. The first team to conduct the Mars analog research mission at Habitat Marte was composed of three undergraduates and a UFRN professor. Until August 2019 happened 20 mission with different goals.
