The pioneering Brazilian project Habitat Marte, a research station on Mars and the semi-arid, under development in Rio Grande do Norte state, announces the calendar of missions for simulation of Mars and similar environments for the year 2018:
Mission 02 - 19-21 / 01/2018,
Mission 03 - 16-18 / 02/2018,
Mission 04 - 09-11 / 03/2018,
Mission 05 - 13-15 / 04/2018,
Mission 06 - 25-27 / 05/2018,
Mission 07 - 15-17 / 06/2018,
Mission 08 - 20-22 / 07/2018,
Mission 09 - 17-19 / 08/2018,
Mission 10 - 21-23 / 09/2018,
Mission 11 - 19-21 / 10/2018,
Mission 12 - 09-11 / 11/2018,
Mission 13 - 07-09 / 12/2018.
Students from universities, professors and professionals can apply for the development of research missions to take place on some of the dates mentioned.
Teams can be 4-5 members who must submit individual or integral research proposals. The Habitat Marte station is located in the city of Caiçara do Rio do Vento, 100 km from Natal, in the semi-arid northeast.
