Guidelines to end of the mission.

In the first day the mission 47 of Habitat Marte happened a travel from Natal to Habitat Marte to show to Yash Rathod the Habitat Marte facilities. In the afternoon happened an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) to the purlieus of Cabugi Volcano located 40 km from Habitat Marte. The volcano was circulated by Habitat Marte pickuf 4W. Was collected basalt in the environs of the volcano and also was did important photos of the sunset.

During the night was prepared a dinner with tilapia fish, tomato and pepper collected in the aquaponic and food production system BioHabitat in Habitat Marte. During the night was also followed the test and launching of the rocket SN5, a prototype of Starship developed by SpaceX. The rocket had a flight of the 150 meters and presenting a very well-done landing. More information: https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-spacex-starship-rocket-prototype-launch-texas-2020-8.

During August 5th 2020, the second day of the mission 47, was developed a Extravehicular Activity (EVA) to the cave area. Were done photos from the area. The goal it is examine the possibility of a future habitat/ exploration area that would be very useful to simulate lava tubes in Mars. A next Extravehicular Activity (EVA) will be developed in the location to exam more technical details and requirements to build a new habitat. After the EVA Davi Souza presented the features of Greenhouse in Mars to Yash Rathod, Varsha Shankar and Julio Rezende. After the presentation part of the crew returned from Habitat Marte to Natal.

One interesting result from Habitat Marte was imagine new areas of exploration for Extravehicular Activities in the location of Habitat Marte.

During Friday (14th) was done an evaluation about possible locations for a Mars settlement. Some references:

Was considered a fundamental research about future Mars habitat the following study: A New Analysis of Mars ‘‘Special Regions’’: Findings of the Second MEPAG Special Regions Science Analysis Group (SR-SAG2): https://mepag.jpl.nasa.gov/reports/Rummel_et_al_Astrobiology_14-SR-SAG2.pdf.

During Saturday (August 15th) happened the presentation of Yash Rathod about how a space station in Mars would be conceived and operational. The presentation was celebrated and received comments and contributions. Interesting see the specific presentations contributing to a complete concept for a Mars habitat. The proposal of architecture student Yash Rathod from Maharashtra Institute of Technology on space design for Mars space habitat will be used in the next virtual missions.
