The Habitat Mars research station held for the first time a mission with the participation of a child, Gabriel Randazzo, 12 years old. Gabriel carried out support activities during the research mission. The participation of children under the supervision of a responsible is an important activity to be carried out in Habitat Mars, as it collaborates to the training of future researchers.
Mission 18 was attended by Davi Souza (chief scientist and brother of Gabriel), Gabriel Randazzo (Mission Research Assistant) and Professor Julio Rezende (mission commander). The mission took place on July 3 and 4, 2019. The complete mission report (in Portuguese) is available at: www.HabitatMarte.com.
