This activity is part of space virtual mission 114 program organized by space analog station @HabitatMarte. It is also an initiative of Mars Group da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte @UFRNbr, from Rio Grande do Norte Space Forum, Mars Society Brazil and Space Renaissance International Latin America.
Karin Brünnemann has degrees in Psychology and Business Information Systems. She also studied Intercultural Business Communications and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Management. She has 30 years of experience working in, and managing, international projects in different industries and has been focusing on the space sector for the past years.
Karin is a consultant and project manager at several space companies and research organisations with a special interest in psychological and intercultural issues in future Mars exploration. She is a Flight Planner for the Austrian Space Forum’s AMADEE-20 analog Mars mission and has participated in several virtual analog missions at Habitat Marte. Karin is also a Project Manager & Researcher at Eco-Encounter SPACE (Slovakia/Israel).
Karin is a lecturer and guest lecturer at various universities worldwide for topics relating to psychology, project management, and intercultural competence. She is a regular speaker at space-related events and conferences.
